A Yoga Workshop on Alignment, Ease & Embodied Strength

Whether you’re new to yoga or have been practicing for years, returning to the foundations is one of the most powerful ways to deepen your practice. Back to the Basics is a supportive, exploratory workshop designed to help you move with confidence, clarity, and connection.

Together we’ll break down key asanas, explore safe and functional alignment, and learn how to adapt postures to your unique body using props, somatics, and mindful movement principles. Through breathwork, gentle strength work, and tensegrity-inspired techniques, you’ll experience the true balance of Sukha and Sthira — steadiness and ease.

This workshop will help you:

  • Understand foundational alignment in common yoga postures
  • Learning to root before you rise
  • Explore modifications, variations, and props that support your body
  • Develop more stability, mobility, and body awareness
  • Use breath as your anchor for steadiness, presence, and flow
  • Integrate somatics, tensegrity and mindful movement to move with more full body connection and ease
  • Build confidence and reconnect with the heart of your practice
  • Play and explore with intuitive movement
